Thank you for your interest in my work. I’m confident I can create a unique painting just for you which you will truly enjoy and treasure in your home.
Here is the outline for our working agreement required before we proceed:
Stage 1: Proposal
We agree on materials, eg acrylic or oil, painting on wood panel or gallery canvas and size.
Payment due: On acceptance 40% deposit is payable before the work begins.
Stage 2: Creative
I will work for you until we are happy with the paintings I have made. I will share with you the work in progress to elicit your feedback. My intention is to work on two paintings with similar colours and parameters as we discussed.
We will arrange to meet, when the paintings are finished, without the surface finished to allow for any further changes. I anticipate this stage will be completed by a set date we determined.
If you approve the work, subject to minor revisions, I will go ahead and complete the paintings. If they are not what you expected then you are under no obligation to complete. In this case, I retain the paintings and your deposit payment can be used against any other of my paintings.
Payment due: 30% of the total is due at the end of this stage.
Stage 3: Finishing and Installing
I will make any minor adjustments, with photo approval if needed. Apply varnish and surface finish. Deliver the paintings ready to install, compete with metal hanging strips.
Payment due: Final 30% is payable on delivery
